1. Who may use this website
FoodServ Parts Store is an online spare-parts store for commercial kitchen equipment, supplied nationally from Midrand. The website is intended for business owners, kitchen managers, technicians and other authorised persons who need parts for ovens, fryers, dishwashers and similar equipment used in trade kitchens.
By using the site, you confirm that the information you provide is true, complete and current. You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in South Africa, and you must not use the site for unlawful, misleading or fraudulent purposes.
2. Ordering, quotations and product checks
Orders placed on the site or by email to parts@foodservparts.co.za are subject to stock availability, compatibility checks and confirmation by our team. Spare parts may look similar but differ in size, rating, terminal layout or fitting type, so it remains your responsibility to check the equipment details supplied.
- Part identification support is provided as a service, not as a guarantee of fit.
- Compatibility checks are based on the model, serial details and photos shared with us.
- Any quotation is valid for the period stated on the quotation, or if no period is stated then for a reasonable time only.
- We may cancel or amend an order if the part is unavailable, incorrectly listed, or incompatible with the equipment described.
3. Pricing, payment and delivery
All prices are shown in Rand unless stated otherwise. Prices may change without notice and may vary depending on supplier cost, stock position, or delivery destination. Delivery charges, if applicable, will be shown before final confirmation where possible. In some cases, especially to remote or outlying areas, extra courier time may apply and we cannot promise same day dispatch.
Payment must be made in full before dispatch unless we have agreed a different arrangement in writing. We may hold an order until payment reflects, and we may request proof of payment for verification. If a payment is reversed or disputed after dispatch, we may suspend further supply until the matter is resolved.
4. Fitting, testing and on-site support
We provide fitting-related services including element fitting, thermostat fitting, gasket fitting, burner fitting, switch panel repairs, dishwasher part fitting, on-site parts support and post-fit testing. These services are carried out by qualified personnel or by technicians under our coordination, depending on the booking and the equipment involved.
- You must ensure safe access to the site and equipment, including isolation of power, gas and water where required.
- You must tell us about any prior faults, alterations, missing parts or damage before work starts.
- Where testing is performed, the equipment should be used only in a safe and compliant condition after the work is complete.
We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, hidden defects, incorrect installation by third parties, or failures caused by poor maintenance, voltage issues, water quality, grease build-up or load-shedding related surges.
5. Returns, warranties and limits of liability
Returns are considered only in accordance with the applicable law and any return instructions issued by us. Special-order items, electrical parts that have been fitted, used gaskets, and parts damaged by incorrect installation may not be returnable. For hygiene and safety reasons, some items may be excluded from return even if unused, if the packaging has been opened.
Any warranty on a part or service is limited to the warranty provided by the supplier or as stated in writing by us. To the fullest extent allowed by law, FoodServ Parts Store, the operator Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd, and their staff are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, business interruption, or damage caused by equipment failure, power interruptions, or improper use. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where the law does not allow it.
6. Intellectual property and lawful use
All website content, including text, layout, images, part descriptions, graphics and trade marks shown on the site, remains the property of the relevant owner and may not be copied, reused or altered without written permission. You may view and use the site for normal business purposes only.
- You may not scrape data, interfere with site security, or attempt unauthorised access.
- You may not post false information, abusive messages or misleading part requests.
- You may not use the site in a way that breaches South African law, municipal safety rules, or any applicable electrical or gas installation requirement.
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. The updated version will apply from the date it is published on the site, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
